He began his journey by helping friends and family decipher energy plans, quickly realizing the widespread problem of overpaying due to confusing contracts. Misleading offers, tiered usage plans, confusing terms like “free nights and weekends,” and aggressive sales tactics can make shopping for energy plans a terrible experience. His deep understanding of the retail energy market, gained through years of experience, allows him to identify and avoid the common pitfalls that consumers often encounter.

In 2023, Brett joined forces with two trusted partners and fellow energy experts, Keaton Searcy and Mason Hall.
